SALES COMPANIES
In our sales companies Arctic Import and Blika we have primarily two types of jobs: Sales consultant or internal salesman.

Sales Consultant
A sales consultant works directly with the customers in their market, so that means travelling to our markets in order to be close to the customers daily. Our sales consultants’ work comprises much more than getting orders when they visit our customers. We emphasise advice and instruction in connection with our products and solutions, so our sales consultants must be able to get acquainted with our customers’ needs.

Internal Salesman
Our internal salesmen are the firm back-up function for the travelling sales consultants. The internal salesmen are responsible for the execution of orders and purchasing of goods to each single customer’s order.  In addition they take care of enquiries and offers. This means that the internal salesman is in close contact via the telephone with both our customers and suppliers in order to secure an optimal solution to our customers.

SERVICE AND SUPPORT FUNCTIONS

Finance
In the finance department we employ finance- and accounts assistants.

Logistics
Among our employees in the Logistics department there are purchasing coordinators and –assistants, logistics coordinators, –assistants, and forwarders. Furthermore, in the stock department we have stock coordinators and stock assistants.

Marketing
In the Marketing department we have a graphic designer, a communications clerk, and a marketing manager.

IT
Our IT-specialists are IT consultants who have been in the trade for many years.

HR & Marketing
In our HR & Marketing Department you will find a HR assistant, a HR & Marketing Manager, and a clerk, and in addition our kitchen assistant, graphic designer and communications assistant.

Business Development & Controlling

The employees in our Business Development & Controlling Department comprise of a Business Development Controller and a Chef Controller.

RETAIL SHOPS
In our retail and grocer’s shops in Greenland we employ shop managers and shop assistants who work and run the shop on a daily basis.
